United States Army 116th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Prepare the Way)

Criteria: This is the unit crest of the 116th Engineer Battalion and is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform. This unit is a part of the Idaho Army National Guard. The unit's motto, "Prepare The Way," is featured across the bottom of the design. The key represents the unit's service in France during World War I. The castle shows the unit's service during the Spanish-American War and the cactus is symbolic of the unit's Mexican border duty.
