United States Army 169th Aviation Regiment Unit Crest (Gravissima Levans)

Criteria: Originally approved for wear by the 169th Aviation Regiment in 1989. Gravissima Levans is their motto which means Lifting the Heaviest Things. These distinctive unit insignia (DUI), also known as Unit Crests, are worn by the Connecticut Army National Guard on the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU) or Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
